So, sometime in the middle of the night last night, I went from being a 37-year-old to being a 38-year-old! I thought about taking a "Michael's Last Night As A 37-year-old" picture to match the ones I did of Mikey when he was turning 8, but we didn't bother. I also thought of taking a crazy picture of myself as I look right now, 6:23am before showering, but I didn't want to break the Internet. As it is, I have a monitor with specially-reinforced glass so it can withstand my morning ugliness. No, you'll just have to settle for Garfield this morning.

So I have a gift right here that Kevin & Candi and their family got for me. Let's take a look, shall we? It came in the mail like a week ago and I've been SUCH a good boy!

Hehe! My brother. He knows just what every little boy wants for his birthday! He got me one of these, except it came with a nifty keychain carrier thingy so I can have it with me at all times. :) Now I just have to decide if I want to carry it around with me and pretend it's just a thumb drive, or stick it in our camera so I can get the pictures out of the camera without having to use the sync cable. Decisions, decisions!!

I have a card here from my Sweetie, too. She and Mikey got me a subscription to Performing Songwriter magazine, and my first issue came a few days ago... that'll be fun to read all year! Let's see the card...

Awwwwww!!! It's love bunnies with balloons!!! She DOES love me after all!!!!! hehe Now I'm all warm and fuzzy inside.

Hmm... better get my warm fuzzy self into the shower!

That was Mom. She said she wanted to be "the first to wish me happy birthday." :) Well, I guess she was! Now I REALLY have to go jump in the shower! I don't have time to check my email... I know Mikey sent me an e-card, but if I don't get going right away it's going to be a rushed morning. Heck... it'll have to be easier than my debacle yesterday! (I'm probably going to have to buy that damaged library book, by the way... they're going to let the guy in charge look at it, but probably there will be no mercy for me on that. If he calls me back today I'm going to pull the "but it's my BIRTH-day!!!" card on him... hehe yeah that'll work.)
